Lauryn Hill has proclaimed that she will be adding 12 new dates to her Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate Series tour.
The previously scheduled dates include less than intimate performances at the Coachella music festival this weekend and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in May. Hill has now added dates in Colorado, Oregon and Washington, along with 4 more dates in California and Texas, and yet a point in Las Vegas.
"I`ve never shied away from being musically adventurous, nor am I known for existence a whippersnapper when it comes to lyrical content or musical exploration," Hill revealed in a statement about her tour.
"These more intimate playdates afford me the clock to do for listeners who haven`t heard from me complete the preceding several days or have been misinformed by the inaccuracies in some media coverage, many of which I might add, I feel very amusing. Getting back out there to do is a lot like resuming a strenuous sport after having been away from it for a while, but eventually the muscle-memory kicks in and each day brings progressive strength."
Hill will likewise be playing sets comprised entirely of Bob Marley and the Wailers classics during her shows in Los Angeles, Calif. on April 20, and Ft. Collins, Colo. on April 24.
