Konvicted is the second studio album by hip hop and R&B Senegalese-American singer and rapper Akon. It was originally released in November 2006. The album features tracks recorded with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Styles P (who previously collaborated with Akon on "Locked Up") and T-Pain (who later recorded "Bartender" with Akon). To date, it is Akon`s most successful album and was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Konvicted debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 284,000 copies. The album was capable to remain inside the top 20 for 28 consecutive weeks, but finally started to drop slowly. On its sixth week, it broke the one billion mark, though it was certified platinum two weeks later. In its tenth week it had a number of 1.3 million copies. The album was officially certified double platinum on its sixteenth week. 2 million records were sold after 20 weeks. After thirty weeks on the chart it had moved 2.4 million units. On November 19, 2007, the RIAA has qualified the Konvicted album triple platinum status with 3 million units sold in the United States. The album became the 2nd best selling record of the class on the Billboard 200 charts
